A Toddler in Spring

March 2022 Recap 🌷

Disclaimer: I'm writing this post at 10pm, and am very ready for sleep. Too sleepy to proofread, so I apologize in advance for any typos. 😂 Enjoy! xx

March has been a jam-packed month for us. Between selling our current home, beginning the building process for our new home, planning logistics for the months in-between, dealing with a very sick Goldendoodle, training a 4-month-old Bernedoodle puppy, parenting, work, and all the random things life requires...needless to say, it's been a lot.

However, this month has also been filled with lots of beautiful moments, and thankfully I was able to pull out my camera for a lot of them! (See gallery below.)

Beckley

Beckley has MASTERED walking this month, and is now starting to get the hang of "running". It's both nerve-wracking and exciting! She's also now able to get on and off of the couch on her own, and loves going to play grounds with friends.

A few weeks ago we were at church, getting ready to leave. We had already checked Beckley out of nursery, and were chatting with some friends before we left. Apparently we were taking too long, because Beckley got up, walked alllll the way across the gallery (stopping to wave👋🏽 and say "hi" to everyone along the way), and checked herself right back in! It was so funny! As you can probably guess, her independence has started showing a lot more this month. Between that and her determination, we have quite the little lady on our hands!

We are building!

We are building a home! After LOTS of back-and-forth behind the scenes, we finally decided that rather than renovating our current house, we'd rather sell and then build a home that fits our current needs perfectly. No worries, we will still be in Bemus Point! We could never leave this little town. ❤️ Wish us luck as we embark on the process of building!

Sully & Sampson

Sampson has been growing like a WEED. He is almost as tall as Sully already, and isn't even close to growing into his paws. He's definitely living up to his name because he's going to be massive. Currently Sampson is in the process of losing his puppy teeth, which means I've been finding them all over the house. We have a collection of them on our kitchen window sill, which Jackson finds funny. He likes coming home from work and seeing how many new teeth were found!

Sully on the other hand has had a rough month. We spent about 2.5 weeks thinking we were going to have to put him down because he was so sick. Thankfully, after an ultrasound, bloodwork, loads of medication, too many vet visits, and LOTS of prayer, he is back to perfect health and is 100% himself again. We love our Sully-Bear, and want him to be around for many more years to come!

I've been making an effort to get my camera out more during day-to-day life. Enjoy this collection (seen below) of photos from this month!

As always, thank you for stopping by my little corner of the internet! Remember that there is a message to be found in every mess, if you simply take the time to look for it. Cheering you all on!
