Mommy & Mini Lunch Date
The other day Beckley and I went for a little lunch date to the new Lakeside Cafe here in Bemus. We sat outside, I struggled through eating a wrap dripping in buffalo sauce with one hand, and Beckley squealed with glee as she played with a napkin.
Beckley is on a new sleep training schedule (should I make a post on this?), and so I try and get her outside for at least a few minutes during every awake window. Going for a walk and lunch date seemed like the perfect opportunity to accomplish a few things:
- Get me out of the house...
- Get Beckley outdoors and doing something new...
- Try out the new cafe...
- Grab some lunch.
As far as the Lakeside Cafe goes, I would highly recommend it! The prices aren't the cheapest, especially for a cafe in my opinion, but still reasonable. ☺️Plus, the food was delicious! I got the buffalo chicken wrap and it was great! I didn't have to wait too long for my food, and they brought it out to my table when it was ready which, as other Moms will know, is definitely ideal when you have a baby on board.
The seating outdoors and indoors is really well done and spaced out, and I LOVE the back room where they have couches and ample space for kids to spread out and play. If you're a Mom looking to meet other moms/kids for a lunch outing, I'd recommend this spot! I'll attach a few quick pics I took down below. ☺️
